Liberal Democrat Councillor for Guildford West Learn more

I spent the morning with three other county councillors and some officers discussing how to decide which of some really good applications for funding from Surrey County Council we would recommend to the council leader. We had over a hundred applications – far more than we could fund. We have asked for more information on some of them and will meet again at the beginning of November to decide which ones we will recommend the leader should support.
The worst thing was that I got a flat tyre on the way to County Hall and had to call the AA out to put the spare on. Thank heaven I had arrived early for the meeting. This afternoon I had to go and get a couple of new tyres. Not the cheapest activity!!
