I was invited to a walkabout this afternoon in Northway and Shepherds Hill. It took about an hour and a half and I ended up with two pages of questions and issues to take up with officers both at Surrey County Council and Guildford Borough Council. Thanks to Brian and Rainee for taking the time to show me things which they know about as “locals”. I will get back to you both with an update once I start to get replies.
If anyone would like to meet up with me for a walkabout in your area, please let me know.

Thank you Fiona for the walkabout and your support,i now feel that the issues that have been highlighted to you will now be dealt with! I wish more people would take the time to arrange these walkabouts with you,in their local area,they will see that it works,and watch their area improve,and i hope appreciate how hard you work for the local areas that you represent! Once again thank you for giving you time and also giving me peace of mind that you truly do care about,every aspect of the areas you represent!

The hedge obstructing the pavement on the corner of Fentum Road was cut by next morning, and i saw residents looking out of their windows so they will know the area was being inspected and this shows you do take an interest in your area that you represent as a County Councillor..
We both appreciate the time you have given us,and i am sure residents will as well when they see improvements.in this area.
